Mar 8, 2016

Leigh Robertson, President of Gold River Marina tells us his teamhave been busy over the last few years with expansions and improvements. Most recently they have made major upgrades to their marine railway. They added pressure treated walkways along with ladders and handrails to bring the railway up to current standards and new 6×6 steel I-beam uprights which raised the effective height by 2 feet.  New 13hp gas powered units and hydraulic winches which use an environmentally friendly hydraulic fluid were also installed. These upgrades resulted in a system with a lifting capacity of 28 tons and railway with a hauling capacity of 50 tons. A 16.5 width means most boats can be launched without putting the cradle in the water.
